iPhone 15 Pro Max order still not here

I am inquiring about an order that I placed over a month ago for an iPhone 15 Pro Max. It was supposed to be shipped over a week ago but still not shipment. I pre ordered it to be one of the first to get it but you can get it in store now. Any idea when I will receive my phone?

Hello @Robbydiesel97, thank you for reaching out to AT&T Community Forums. We'll be happy to help you.

We understand your concern and will help you get this sorted. To answer your question, once your order ships you'll get a confirmation email. Pre-ordered devices ship on a first-come, first-serve basis and back ordered devices ship when they're available.

Request processing time can be impacted by delays due to unusually high request volumes such as holidays, major device launches or even delays due to waiting for assistance from the manufacturer.

To find out when your order ships follow these instructions:

  1. Go to My orders.
  2. Do one of the following to see your recent orders:
    • Search for your order.
    • Sign in to myAT&T.
  3. Find the order you want to check.

Hope this information helps, and do reach out to us if you require further assistance!

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums,

Phones are shipped to the customer once AT&T receives it and sets up delivery with whoever AT&T uses. When AT&T gets their inventory for pre-orders is anybody's guess. Delayed ship dates are very common with pre-orders on hot items like new iPhones. Being the first on the block with the latest doo-dads has its drawbacks and delayed shipment of orders due to demand exceeding supply is one of them. Nobody can really give you a definitive ship date until inventory is received and matched to your order.

This is a customer populated forum. Your best option to find out an estimated shipping date is by looking up your order online.

And this happens every year. Apple makes a lot of base model phones and when it comes to the pro and the pro Max there are never enough. It's not unusual to have phones back ordered all the way into the new year.

And it's been worse since 2020 pandemic.  Supply shortages, issues with shipping, it's just the way it is..

If you're not happy and you can buy the phone somewhere else, and your phone hasn't been shipped from AT&T then cancel your order and go buy it somewhere else.  That does mean giving up whatever promotion you may have qualified for through AT&T

Hey @Robbydiesel97 did you get your phone yet? I ordered mine 9/26 and my order page says it’s going to ship between 10/17 and 10/31…I’m just curious if that means it actually will, so wanted to see how you fared.

im thinking It most likely will just adjust the dates later if it’s not in stock for pre-orders yet, but I would like to think that those dates are likely

Hello! We understand the anticipation of getting a new device, and we are here to help you with the information you need.

Since the estimated shipping date range was stated to be until 11/03, we suggest you wait until then. The Pro devices are some of the most popular devices, which directly impacts the availability of stocks. Please sit tight, and you will get an update regarding your shipment sooner rather than later.

Hope this information helped, and do let us know if you need further assistance.
