Recently bought a pre used iphone 12 but its lock to at&t not sure if it has a pending bill.I would like to know how i can pay it to get my sim unlocked .

You can’t only the original owner can pay it off. Get a refund

So if you’re not sure, put in an unlock request. If it isn’t paid off, your request will be denied with that reason. If it is paid off, the unlock request should be approved. As stated above, only the original owner can pay it off.
