iPad Pro 10.5 dead

I have a iPad Pro 10.5inch and yesterday it something happens where I can’t get it to work anymore.  I plugged a set of my headphones into the headphone jack and all of a sudden it just turned off like it was out of battery. I tried charging it, also doing a soft reset and still nothing.  Any suggestions? Has anyone heard of this happening?
