IMAP.mail.att.net not responding

I have a IPhone 7 Plus that the imap.mail.att.net is not responding I have checked and re-entered the user name and password to make sure they are correct and still not getting anywhere. Email works just fine on laptop and on a web page on the phone just not in the mail server. Help?

We'd be glad to assist you. Have you made sure that your device is updated to the latest software? Have you tried restarting your phone?

 

Also try walking through some troubleshooting steps in our Troubleshoot and Resolve tool. Just select your device and the issue that you're experiencing. Thank you.

Exactly my problem.  Everything was fine until 6/21/20.  Since then no mail has come through.  My laptop still receives mail, but iphone 7 plus doesn't.
