I submitted a request for unlocking my iPhone 7 plus, can I take out the sim in the mean time?
I submitted my request to unlock my iPhone 7 plus on 3/25 and on the status it tells me that it is in progress and may take up to 2 business days. In the meantime for this to get approved/completed, can I take the SIM card out of the phone in order to use my phone on wifi because right now, I cannot get passed the set up without activating the sim. Please let me know if taking out the SIM card will be okay?

Hello @atnnnm,
Great question! Yes, you can remove the SIM from the phone however. When the unlock process is finished you will need to back up and restore with iTunes to complete the unlock process.
