I have an iphone 6 that has been successfully unlocked 4 times by At&t, but is still not accepting any european sim card
Hi,
I unlocked successfully 4 times through At&t unlock website and my phone is still locked. I tried to connect it to Itunes, and it is still the same issue.
I called and spent about an hour on the phone to try to solve the issue with At&t and I got the answer at the end that I have to submit the unlocking procedure through At&t website again and again until it is unlocked.
This is really annoying because I am in Europe and cannot use my phone, and certainly do not have time to wait that long to use it.
Please let me know what I should do.
My latest successful unlocking request number is NUL565595540353.
Thank you,
George

Here is the message I get when I insert a French or Swedish sim card that are working on other iphone 5s and 6s, both unlocked from At&t:
The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.
The SIM card that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact Apple for more information.

If AT&T approved the unlock, the rest is up to Apple. Contact them. If Apple says they received a request from AT&T, then it's up to you to connect to iTunes and complete the unlock process.

Thank you for your message,
I contacted Apple and we tried everything on their end.
It seems that it is still locked by At&t.
I am not sure what to do anymore.
Can someone from At&t help me please?

That doesnt quite answer the question: DID at&t approve unlock by apple?
Yes or no?
If at&t did, then its out of at&t hands.
If apple never got a request To unlock, then at&t has messed up 4 times.

Yes, Apple approved a fifth time the unlock, but it still does not work.
This is starting to be ridiculous. I have a phone that is completely paid for and not usable. It has been few month and lot of time spent on this issue and no one owns the problem.
At&t, if you approved the unlock, why is it still not useable?

When ATT approves the unlock, all they do is notify Apple to update their activation servers. To complete the unlock, your phone must have internet access to be able to communicate with those activation servers. Does your phone have internet access?

Try back up and restore through itunes.
Call apple. If apple says they received The request and approved, then both at&t and apple have done their part.
