I do not receive any verification codes through text messages

for about 5 months my phone hasn't been receiving verification codes I have tried absolutely everything I could find online. still nothing has worked I was even on the phone with an agent for an hour to try to fix the problem. The agent told me that people would reach out to me within 2-4 days but it never happened.

Verification codes are often sent by short code numbers, and we have a few ways to make sure you're getting these messages. Check to see if the number is blocked.(If it is, then you wouldn't be getting any of their messages)

 

If the short code number isn't blocked, send a text saying "Help" to the number in question. This will let us know if you're able to receive any messages from the short code number and determine if you were opted out. There will be also steps on how to opt back in to receive this code.

If you're still unable to receive verification codes, we can meet in the DM so that we can get to the bottom of why you're not receiving them.

I've tried both those methods and the methods posted on the forum article about shortcodes. I believe it's a AT&T Short Code Network Issue
