I can't re-submit a new unlock request because it shows my imei is in progress

I got the unlock confirmation email after 26 hours and it says my confirmation link was good for only 24 hours. What should i do now? I cant even re-submit a new unlock request. Because it shows my imei is in progress. When i try to check the status it says I didn’t confirm their email. @HelpAt&t

We recommend you contact your grandfather, the original owner of the device, to request the unlock if he is still in the US. If he is not, then please have him talk to our international support desk on +1.314.925.6925. They are available 24 hours, 7 days a week.
