I bought a prepaid chip for my vacation in US and now I cant unlock my iPhone 7 in my country - BR

Hello!

I bought an unlocked iPhone 7 at Best Buy and a prepaid chip at AT&T Store, for my use while at vacation in US. Now that I'm back to Brazil, I tried to use a chip of the companhies from Brazil but it appears that it is locked by the AT&T company.

So, I tried to unlock online my device by your site, but you automatically answered saying that it's not possible because my account is not active for at least 6 months.

Please, I pay any tax, just help me to unlock my phone. I've the IMEI and AT&T account numbers.

my e-mail address is: ***.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

You didn't buy an unlocked phone, which you figured out already.

You will gave your apply got an exception by sending a copy of purchase receipt and request for exception to prepaid unlock rules as you paid in full, not a subsidized phone.

send to @ATTCares

It may take several days for a response.

Hello there @aucaye!

Having an unlocked device is definitely convenient; especially if you wish to use it internationally. I will be more than happy to assist!

@Lizdance40 is right! We can definitely take a closer look into this situation and provide you the best resolution. Please make sure to send your full name, IMEI number, and a valid email address in a private message using this link @ATTCares.
