Does this work to resubmit with a new email address seems like att unlock system online is full of glitches

example

already processing request message after the system returned a failed unlock email

data not in the system

you are tired too many times to unlock device in thirty days

all messages I have seen that seem to be wrong ?

I am trying to get my device unlocked which has been on AT&T prepaid on an off but not for 6 straight consecutive months. I bought the phone myself an not from AT&T but I activated it on their prepaid plan. Its been inactive for months so does that 6 month requirement pertain to the BYOD or just phones purchased from AT&T. Also the unlock the device website locked me out after 3 tries an it was due to messages popping up such as the phone is active on another account but customer service already verified it was cancelled in May an it automatically does if its not paid within 60 days. The phone has been inactive for months so I don't know whats going on here.

Unfortunately, the unlock website does not know whether you bought the phone from ATT or not. The 6 month requirement applies to all phones, even when it shouldn’t. If you bought your phone elsewhere and paid full retail price for it, you may be able to get an exception to that 6 month requirement buy calling advanced tech support.

What's the reason your unlock request is being denied?

This issue is going on second day now "Looks like the information we need ins't in our database yet"

Will this ever be fixed? or will it take another month to fix this issue? as always with ATT when it comes to fixing something.

Also, what gives???

Based on your device purchase date your service has not been active for at least 60 days

Phone has been active with AT&T for 2 years now or so, why deceiving like this? with the wrong message that it has not been active for at least 60 days?????

Is there some mediation I can go through to help me with my problem? Has someone else had this problem and got a resolution? Here is my story. I purchased my iPhone 6s Plus on eBay about 3 months ago as phone that would work on the AT&T network (and it does that perfectly). I finally got around to calling AT&T to have the phone unlocked. To my disappointment AT&T customer service informed me that the phone was "Active on another Account"  in other words the previous owner had not met their contractual agreement, (paid off the phone). Bottom line is I am being told the phone can't be unlocked because the previous owner stopped paying. I believe in my case the AT&T policy is unfair to me, a customer who has payed every invoice on time since 2006. I should have the flexibility to use my iPhone 6s Plus on any network, to be able to change carriers, to get a sim card abroad, or do any thing else an unlocked phone can do.  I am being told by customer service an unlock is impossible because of AT&T policy. Help!

i have a paid off at&t phone and its company locked so when i went to unlock it online it said "Your unlock request was denied because your account has a past due or unpaid balance." if you have the answer to this please reply.
