@Constructive The problem is this thread is 4 pages long and Juanass didn’t post until page 3. All of their individual posts and replies would have to be moved. Though I could do it, I don’t want to.

It is a pity that there are citizens as unethical as you.

@Juanass You really need to stop the insults. No one here is unethical or complicit. We are just giving you the cold hard truth. Sorry you got ripped off by whatever store sold you the phone but no one here can do anything about that.

Thanks, I still think that only in the USA can they cheat like this, they
should help to avoid those tourist frauds, it speaks very badly about you.

Don't take this the wrong way but you can buy counterfeit purses and other stuff in your country.  Some one from the USA could have bought that phone also.

Sandblaster (ACE- EXPERT) Let's see if you understand it, it seems to
me that as an American you should ensure that your country defends
tourists from these maneuvers. Only that, your answer is only very
comfortable, nothing more. If you were in my country I would not
hesitate to help you since from Argentina you do not even receive my
AT&T call and less Asurion, they are two bureaucratic blocks that harm
instead of being at the service of buyers, note that I no longer speak
in good faith, but neither They even respect the civil rights of a
buyer. A TRUE FRAUD THAT YOU SHOULD CORRECT.

This has nothing to do with you being a tourist, other than you can’t easily return the phone, while a local could.  There are thousands of phones, mostly iPhones, stolen every month and resold all over the world.

Only that, your answer is only very
comfortable, nothing more. If you were in my country I would not
hesitate to help you since from Argentina
You seem to think no one is helping you, when what you want is a resolution that is NOT Possible, and were told the TRUTH.  Just because you don’t understand, doesn’t mean At&t is bad or wrong, or that you aren’t getting help.
You seem to think the rules are different, when they aren’t.  If a phone from an Argentinian carrier is stolen and reported and blacklisted, the results and answer is the same.  Black list is international.

you do not even receive my AT&T call and less Asurion, they are two bureaucratic blocks that harm
instead of being at the service of buyers, You are not a legitimate buyer and didn’t buy from a legitimate seller.  At&t and Asurion are in the right as the phone belonged to someone and it was stolen from them.  They had to pay At&t and the insurance company.  The fashion store and you have no rights to that phone.
note that I no longer speak in good faith, but neither They even respect the civil rights of a
buyer. A TRUE FRAUD THAT YOU SHOULD CORRECT.
You have no “civil rights” as a buyer, complete nonsense.     You purchased a stolen phone, which in the USA is a crime ‘receiving stolen goods’.

You not understanding, doesn’t make you right.   You bought from a illegitimate source, and they ripped you off.

Lesson should be, “only buy from a legitimate store”

@Juanass That is just plain ridiculous. I have no more power to prevent fraud at some store thousands of miles away from me than you do. My answer is not comfortable, it is honest. If I visited Argentina and got ripped off as you did, you wouldn’t be able to do anything about it. To suggest you could or would is pure fantasy.
