How to check iPhone's contract expiration without AT&T customer account?

I bought an iPhone from internet but I didn't know it's still be locked because the contract haven't fulfilled. I tried to check it on AT&T website but I coudn't do that without an AT&T customer account because I'm not living in US. I need some help to find down the solution and I'll verry appriciate about it.
