Only Apple can remove the iCloud activation lock. If you’re not the original owner, you won’t be getting a receipt. Likely you are stuck with a useless phone. As noted, get your money back from whoever sold it to you.

Huh? That makes no sense. ATT has nothing to do with iCloud. If you bought a phone that hasn’t had The iCloud activation lock removed, return it. This is also a public forum, please remove your personal information. You should not post your imei in a public forum.

if you bought if 3rd party like from facebook or ebay etc at&t will not help you only the person that owned it originally and has it associated with their icloud account can remove it. at&t will not share any info with you about the previous owner.
