How can I get a esim to use with my phone

I am trying to see if I have a physical sim but it doesn't work in my mother phone. How can I get an esim. Do I have to go to the store or can I call to receive one. I am currently using an Pixel 6 and want to use my s21. My 21 doesn't read sim cards which I found out is a common problem.

Hello @QueenRSB, we are here to help you answer your questions about your esim. 

 

Below you'll find the steps needed to get a ESIM:

  1. Go to your myAT&T account overview.
  2. Scroll to My devices.
  3. Choose Manage for the device that needs a new eSIM.
  4. Scroll to Options & settings and select Get a new eSIM.
  5. Confirm your selection to Get a new eSIM.
  6. Follow the prompts to complete your eSIM setup.

For some reason it doesn't appear on my end. Idk is it because I'm a new user or what. I am thinking about buying a phone with At&t. I would love to use my s21 but I can't find the esim feature on my account.

Hello QueenRSB, we're here to help you use your eSIM on your device.

 

Try following the steps for activating your eSIM. The specific steps change depending on the type of device you have, and a QR code may be required for activation. 

 

You can get an eSIM QR code by visiting one of our stores, which you can find by using our store locator

 

You’ll need a Wi-Fi connection on your phone and an eSIM activation card with a QR code from AT&T. To download your eSIM, open your camera app, point the camera at the QR code, and follow the prompts.

If you can’t scan the QR code with your camera, follow these steps:

1.  Open Settings. 
2.  Select Connections. 
3.  Select SIM card manager. 
4.  Select Add mobile plan. 
5.  Follow the prompts to scan the QR code on your eSIM activation card from AT&T.

If your Samsung smartphone still doesn’t have wireless service, activate your device.
