Home button and Touch ID

Seems my home button will not work and when this happened the Touch ID says it failed before I try to add my fingerprint. The home button never seemed to actually click but it’s worked all along. Now I have to use a screen home button which is not very user friendly.

  • Is there a phone case or protective cover on your device that may be interfering with the touch ID?
  • Has you cellphone sustained any water/physical damage, or had the screen and home button replaced?
  • Have you previously had problems with the touch ID before?
  • What do mean by having to use a screen home button which is not very user friendly?

Provide us more specific details of what's happening with the cellphone.
