Error 1035 message

When trying to change my greeting on my iPhone 6 plus, as soon as I record the new greeting and then play it back to see that it is acceptable, I push "SAVE" and receive the following message, "The operation could not be completed (com.apple.mobile-phone error 1035)".  It then deleted my previous greeting and will not allow me to set up a new one.  How may I remedy this?

iPhone 6 - I am having this same issue! I have called several times and I did the troubleshooting turned the phone off the wifi off and she reset my VM and sent me a link and I lost my old VMs and the problem isnt resolved. Now when I press and hold the number "1" I get a message that says "your voicemail has been locked"...OH MY GOODNESS - this is so frustrating!

I have also faced the same problem, however, I tried rebooting the phone so as to fix the error, but when started and tried to save found an error Mac Error Code 43   and then rebooted and saved again to solve the error.

With so many people having this problem, why hasn't ATT fixed it? I went to the store because I tried all these fixes with no success. They told me I needed a new phone so I purchased one and the same problem existed which means it is networked based!! I called ATT support and he seemed surprised at the problem. I told him thousands have had this same problem dating back to at least 2016 and he could not fix it, got frustrated, and didn't call me back. I downloaded an outside app to handle voicemails since I cannot afford to miss messages when I'm busy. Very, very disappointed in ATT and thinking of moving to a competitor.

FYI, I couldn't find the AT&T Visual Voicemail app, in the Apple App Store.  So, I don't think that that is a thing, anymore.  I was able to finally change my voicemail message after receiving this 1035 error; however, I had to do it using the oldschool method of actually calling into the automated voicemail system (on iPhone, go to the phone keypad and hold down the 1 key).  You have to have set up that system previously, however, with a PIN.  Apparently, I had done that, and I always use the same PIN, so I was able to guess it.  :^P
