Duplicate texts in group messaging
Hello,
My iphone 7 started, as of this week, sending me a new message every time I respond to a group message. It's just annoying. I'll reply back to someone, then a few seconds later get the message and it looks like it's coming from someone else but it's from me.
So the converstation has me in the green on the right side, then me in the grey (like everyone else) directly underneath on the left side.
Any idea how to turn this off or fix this?

Having all of your messages duplicate back at you would definitely be annoying!
I would suggest deleting the message thread, and restarting your phone. Since it’s a SMS group message, someone within the group messaging you again should re-create it.
Group messaging depends on a cellular network connection, so if the issue continues, you might try resetting the network settings as well by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. (Note: This will remove saved settings such as Wi-Fi passwords).
