Did Not Receive Text Messages or Phone Calls For a Period of Time
At home late yesterday afternoon and into the night, I didn't receive text messages or phone calls between 4:30-10:00 EST. I didn't know I was having a problem until my boyfriend came by around 10:00 all scared wondering if something was wrong. He had been trying messages and calls during the down time with no response. He showed me on his phone where he had texted and called with the times. I had nothing. When I opened up the message app, the messages from the dropped 5 1/2 hours flew in all at once.
There is no landline only this phone so it is important I have reception for a number of reasons.
Has anyone else had this issue? This morning it is working fine. We just texted a "test" and it worked.

Your phone is a mini computer. Occasionally, it needs to be rebooted. I was having a problem sending and receiving texts and emails. When I rebooted my phone, then I got them. It is something that happens. The phones are not 100% reliable, although they are pretty close.
