Current status - In Progress (3 business days and counting)

I was wondering if there is any ATT admin that could help me with the unlock of my phone.

1 - I do meet all the criteria, I have read.

2 - It's been more than the 2 days ATT said it would take.

3 - I have checked my spam, my e-mail. The only thing I have received was the confirm unlock e-mail that I have confirmed.

I need a reply from ATT with the reason why it is taking so long to unlock my phone.

depending on the phone it can take more than 2 days.

Thank you for the reply, but it actually does not clarify my question. What does it make the process so slow?

It should be a simple code sharing. Statistically, it may take more than two days but in logical analysis, what else there is to be done other than just check if I fit the criteria and if so, send me the unlocking code.

and you still did not say what phone it is!  So depending on the maker could be longer.  Apple is near instant since there is no code.

Sorry, I thought it was clear from the place I had posted. It is an iPhone. Model 6s.

Has anyone here had success recently?  My initial unlock request on an iphone 6 went 5 days and nothing.  The unlock status then disappeared so I turned in a 2nd request.  Now it's been 4 working days.

Look, this was my experience.

my unlock is complete. I had to leave the new SIM card in the phone. Even if the status was saying in progress, it worked.

There’s not much info on how you should proceed and seems that att does not care about this. For those who are still trying to unlock, just try to insert the new sim, and leave it there for like 2h. It worked for me. Just don’t expect anyone from att to help, because they don’t care.

Yeah ATT's instructions are a little lacking..  Most new iPhones will unlock once they connect to the Apple activation server and see you have permission to unlock the phone.

What are we supposed to see if we check status and it was successful?

After 5 days of "in progress," I see this: "Looks like your IMEI and request number don't match. Check your information and try again."

This is the 2nd time this has happened.

You need to contact AT&T directly about questions for your order.  Also need to delete your personal information from a public forum.
