Cricket Iphone 5 on AT&T?

Hi I'm currently using an Iphone 5 bought in May 2013 from cricket and I am kinda confused on the switch to GSM. This link https://www.cricketwireless.com/migrate makes it seem like iphone can be switched over to GSM with a SIM card. Does anybody have any advice on if I am reading this right?

Thanks

According to what that says, it must be GSM capable. The iPhone has both CDMA and GSM. On some models, they are not switchable from CDMA to GSM or GSM to CDMA. It it was set up as either from the beginning, it should be capable to be used on either network.
