Constant switch between LTE & 4G

At least once a week for several months now, my LTE service will disappear for no reason and the 4G icon will pop up, rendering my phone completely useless. I can't send text messages or load any apps or websites. There doesn't seem to be any fix, toggling airplane mode on and off or resetting the network settings brings back the LTE icon but my phone is still worthless, I've been staring at an iMessage for about 3 minutes https://9apps.ooo/ now which won't send. In the past when I've had this issue I went to the store and had my SIM swapped out which helped for a day or two, then it's back to the same issue. I'm pretty much at the point where I'm planning on leaving AT&T. It's not like I'm in the middle of rural Wyoming, I live in the most populated part of the country and need a working phone.https://dltutuapp.com/

(As I typed this, I reset my network settings, got LTE back for about 30 seconds, and now it's gone again). I can't be the only one with this issue, anyone else?

  1. Your phone is sending or receiving a call and the LTE network does not support voice-calling, so it switches to a 3G network to make or receive the call. If the operator itself does not support voice over LTE (VoLTE), you might do better by switching to a different operator. However, maybe your phone does not support VoLTE, in that case the operator might have a Voice-Calling App that you can use.
  2. You are on the edge of the LTE and 3G cell, both determine that you are better off with the other and keep ping-ponging you between them. This should not happen, you can call the operator on Customer-Care if this happens frequently. Also, in case you see that this happens even when you have good reception, then you can set the ‘Network Mode’ specifically of your SIM to LTE (or 3G) whichever works better, by default it will auto-select.

It’s happening because whenever the signal quality decreases, your phone searches for an Alternative, with a better quality. Then let it be a 3G connection. So, You need to go to settings>mobile network>and swich from Auto(LTE/3G/2G) to LTE https://cyberflix.info/.

But note that there are certain situations in which you need to connect to 3G (in the absense of LTE, of course) and when you switch it to only LTE, It won’t connect to a 3G connection. https://www.aostv.me/ So, take note on that.
