com.apple.mobilephone error 1035 meaning?

iPhone 6 iOS 10.02

 

I got this error message when I tried to update my voicemail greeting.

 

Any idea how to fix it?

This happened to me after changing my phone number with AT&T. I called 1 and was able to get all my messages. Then I went into my settings>phone and changed my voicemail password.Then it started working.

Actually yes it does. none of the other suggestions worked but hold the 1 key and I was able to set up my voicemail, but I did call 1 800 331 0500 and the automated system instructed me to utilize this procedure and it worked for me.

Go to your phone & hold down the number 1!!!! It works!!
At least it worked for me!!

Go to your phone, Hold down the number 1 & it will set it all up for you!

THE ONLY SOLUTION I, AS THE ORIGINATOR OF THIS THREAD, ACCEPT AS THE SOLUTION TO MY QUESTION IS THE POST OF 8:16 AM ON OCTOBER 11, 2016. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SUGGESTED BY ANY AT&T "REPRESENTATIVE" HELPED ME!

*****RESOLVED**********  Resetting the voicemail password by dialing the voice mail system WORKED for me!
