Hi there, Dlynn620! Here's how to check the carrier visibility of your Apple iPad.
For eSIM iPads you will want to follow the provided steps:
Under these settings, AT&T will display as the carrier if the device was sold through AT&T sales channels (excluding Apple and National Retailers). See the details under Change cellular network settings when you visit Signal & Cellular Data for Apple iPad mini (6th Gen).
To have carrier visibility on an iPad, all compatible iPad devices sold through an AT&T channel should be activated through the respective front-end point-of-sale ((Edited per community guidelines)) system.
Try this and let us know how this goes. If you've activated your iPad through the on-device flow upon purchase at AT&T then we can provide Carrier Visibility Support.

Thank you for your response it does give the other option with a qr option to scan. So does that mean it’s open to any carrier service? Thank you

On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > General > About. Scroll down and find “Carrier Lock” or “Network Provider Lock”. If you see No SIM restrictions, this means that the iPhone or iPad is completely unlocked.

Under carrier it just says IPad 53.0. When I click on cellular data it’s show select carrier and has AT&T and Other

I wish someone would get this taken care of. AT&T said the iPad isn’t with them but the esims says AT&T and tmoible says it’s locked and contact Apple and they say it’s locked with AT&T.

Can you please help me with Carrier Reveal. I tried calling and they didn't know what I was talking about and eventually I got disconnected. I have two iPads that I want to use a different carrier with, but they both say they are locked when I try to do so. I've tried with both a physical sim and an eSim. I am pretty sure the Carrier Reveal is what I need.
I do still have an account with AT&T.
