Can't update password for email on iPhoneX

We reset the password in our Att.net mail account to acces the account from a PC, but now we can't update the password on our phone. It takes us to a reset, we enter everything and it keeps on looping. What do you suggest?

We want to take a closer look into your email access concerns.

 

In order to best assist, we'd like to have some clarifications;

  • how long after you reset the password on the PC did you try to access the email on the phone
  • did you clear the cache, cookies on your phone browser when you tried
  • what error message is coming up when you tried accessing the email on your phone
  • are you still able to access the mail through your computer

We have cleared the cache and cookies. It requests that we reset the password, once we do that, it loops us into another screen to log in. We use the new password to log in and it loops us back to a window to reset the password. We have not worked on this in 10 days.

What else do you suggest?

Delete the mail account from your phone. Then add it back with the correct new password
