Can't unlock my iPhone SE
Hey everyone,
I'm from Guyana,South America and i recently bought an iPhone SE from someone, After I bought it I placed my sim inside of it only to realize it was locked, anyways I went to the AT&T Unlock Portal to unlock it and after entering the relevant information and waited for the unlock request to process, I checked the unlock status and this is the message that popped up:
"We can’t unlock this device because it hasn’t been active for at least six months of paid service.
You can submit a new request after six months of paid service."
I have no way to contact the person who has sold me the device any longer and I have no idea of the past of this device, now I'm stuck with a phone that I can't use with my local carrier.
Someone please help me!

Sorry to say, there is nothing that can be done to help you. Those iPhone SE’s are sold at a deep discount and the requirement to use on ATT for 6 months before it will be unlocked won’t be waived. If you can’t return to the seller, you might as well sell it yourself.

I wish I could but no one will buy it now that it's locked.
