Cannot stay logged in to iPhone AT&T Uverse App

I seem to be required to log into the iphone AT&T Uverse app every time I open it, even though I specified that I want to stay logged in.

We want to help you stay logged into your U-verse app, @jcy1018.

 

We have quite a few recommendations that can help your U-verse app to work as intended. If you haven't already, try some of these troubleshooting methods to get started: 

  • Soft reset your iPhone. While power cycling your phone is a quick way to fix any issues your device may be experincing, a soft reset should be done if the issue is still occuring. Quickly press and release the Volume up button then the Volume down button, and press and hold the Side button until the Apple logo appears. 
  • Confirm your device's software is updated. Sofware updates not only include security patches, but bug fixes as well. If your device isn't update, please check for updates as this a patch for this may be included in the latest update. 
  • Clear the U-verse app's cache by uninstalling it. There may be some saved data that's causing you to be logged out of the app whenever you open or close it. Go into your device's Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Select the U-verse app > Delete App to remove all data. After this, try reinstalling the app.

Hello Dylan, I have tried to soft reset my iphone (iphone 11) and the device software is updated (iOS 16.4). I have uninstalled and re-installed the U-verse app a few times, but I never went into iPhone storage to delete. I just did that and re-installed (uverse app version 6.6.2). I will advise if I continue to see the same issue. Thank you.

Hello, unfortunately I tried the above tips, including soft boot, update and uninstall/reinstall, and I still get the prompt that I need to login when I open the uverse app. Doesn't seem to happen every time but often enough to be annoying.
Any additional tips?
