Cannot send MMS message to noniphone users

For a month now I have gone back and forth with AT&T because I cannot send MMS messages to noniphone users starting one month ago. I have had this issue before and they fixed it but they did not put in any notes on how they fixed it. Now nobody is able to help me. It's affecting my job because if someone in a group chat has a noniphone I cannot even reply to group chats. All the group messages come to me individually. Lots of other people have posted this issue and I see no solutions. Please help or I have to just switch carriers. This is ridiculous. And for the record I have tried all the things: Turn phone off and on, toggle imessage and mms message off then on, reset network setting, etc. I need a real solution.

Hi 10jdiss. Let's meet in a Direct Message (DM) to discuss your device's inability to send MMS to non-iPhone recipients.

 

Please check your Direct Message Inbox for a message being sent to you. Look for the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums page.

 

Some of our customers who have experienced a similar trend with their iPhone have reported success after updating the software on the device. After selecting your device's make and model choose System followed by Software update for the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch for the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch.

 

When iOS owners began reporting these instances, Apple released a software update which addressed this trend.

 

In the meantime, make sure to watch for the message being sent to you in the DM. We want to look into this for you so that you're able to send MMS messages to contacts with Android devices.
