Cannot make single installment plan payment

I recently did a transfer of billing responsibility with my parents. According to them, they made sure to select transfer the device installment plan to me. However, when I go to pay the monthly installment on the phone, it does not give me any options other than paying off the phone entirely. I just want to pay the monthly installment, not the whole phone.

The monthly installment payment is put on your bill, you do not pay it separately. Have you gotten a bill yet?

Clearly att, no help at all didn't read your post, and did not understand your question.

Is correct.

You're installment is included in your monthly bill payment. There is no option to make additional payments to reduce your installment balance. You're only option is to continue paying with your monthly bill, or to pay off 100% of your installment. If you are getting bill credits on your installment, it may not be wise to pay off your phone. Depending on the type of agreement you have with a promotion, it may void further credits

Very welcome.

It sounds like this is your first time having your own cellular account. Don't be afraid to ask questions. And be aware that each service provider operates a little bit differently. So what is true for AT&t may not be true for T-Mobile. But probably will be and (then some) for Verizon
