Calls go directly to voicemail when forwarded

When I forward my Cisco work phone to my cell phone it goes directly to cell phone voice mail.  It never rings.  If I forward my work phone to a co-workers Verizon phone it rings.  My IT dept is telling me it's the carrier.  Has this happened to anyone else? I've done all the usual restarted my phone about 10 times, DND is NOT on, etc

Hi @gregoryjulie69,

We'd like to take a closer look into this for you! What type of device do you have? You may have a setting turned on which causes this to happen.

If you have an iPhone, check the Do Not Disturb setting. Having this on may silence phone calls entirely. If this is the case, be sure to change the settings. You can also check the Announce Calls setting. To go there, navigate to Settings > Phone > Announce Calls > Make sure it's set to Always.

For Androids, make sure the "forward to voicemail" is turned off. You can check this by going to Phone app > Click more > Settings > Call forwarding > Voice call > Always forward > Click Disable. Let us know if this helps!

DND is off, call forwarding is off and announce calls is on. It’s an iPhone
8. Just set the forward on my work phone to forward to my cell phone. When
I call my iPhone number it towards to the voice mail on my phone. Thanks
for suggesting it but I had that all set from seeing it in the blog

Did you ever figure out what the issue was? I'm having this problem as well.
