Call Forwarding Doesn't work - iPhone7 & Consumer Cellular (A&T)

OS:  11.0.3.

Spent a week with Consumer Cellular trying to resolve my problem.  They feel it's a Apple issue.  Since I had the same problem before, I tend to feel it's CC, not Apple.  After I enter the call forwarding number and click on the back arrow.  The green call forward button turns off.  I used my wife's SIM in my phone and it works okay.  Trying the ### or * results in error messages.  Any ideas?  Thanks.  Rich

Hello @rlane3907,

Thank you for reaching out to us on the Community Forums! I am sorry to hear you are having issues with call forwarding.

If this feature is working with your wife's SIM card, try using your SIM card in her device, if possible. If it does not work, your SIM card may be the issue.

To help rule out a phone issue, you can try doing a factory reset. This will revert your phone back to default, so be sure to create a backup prior!

Instructions for the backup can be found here: Make a backup. Instructions for the reset can be found here: Factory restore device.

If you need any further assistance, I would recommend contacting Consumer Cellular directly. I hope this issue gets resolved!

Call CC and verify your IMEI number.  If you have up graded your phone and did not purchase it from CC they need to update their

records. That happened to me.  They updated it in less then a minute at no charge

Mine is still not solved yet. Same issue. And Consumer Cellular is driving me crazy not being able to fix it. Will ATT be able to permanently forward my phone calls?
