ATT store-bought iphone 5s unlock IMEI not in ATT database
As the subject suggests, I've double and triple checked the iphone 5s IMEI but the device unlock form says that the associated IMEI is not an ATT wireless phone or tablet.
Additionally, when I enter the IMEI into the database search for bringing a phone into the network, it finds it immediately.

It means the phone was sold as a discounted prepaid phone and has not yet been used on ATT.
ATT will not unlock prepaid phones that have not completed the required minimum service of 6 months continuous paid service. It's a loop hole they closed this year.

The problem is that these were part of a NEXT package back in 2015, not a recent thing. I've paid off the last 5-6 months in one go within the hour before the creation of this topic.
