ATT iPhone unlock
I’m trying to unlock a ATT device and I’m getting this message
“
Your unlock request was denied because your phone is no longer active on an AT&T account. Re-submit your request and select 'no' to the "Are you an AT&T Wireless Customer question".
please kindly help me unlock my device I bought from offerup and I can’t return

Well first of all are you following instructions? When you start the form to unlock your phone the Top Line says "do you have an AT&T phone number" and there's a bubble for "yes" and a bubble for "No".
It default fills in the "yes" Bubble. If you are not filling in the 'NO' bubble, you did it wrong.

the only way I will put in the items IMEI is if I put tick the No button
which I did
I ticked the NO button and it still tells me the same I tried multiple times and still the same

the only way it would allow me input the IMEI is if I used the “No” option which I did
and I still got the same response

Then it's an error in AT&t's portal.
File an FCC complaint online. A free complaint only takes a minute or so to fill out the form. The form is forwarded to AT&t upper management and someone will call you.
