AT&T Call Protect Not Working

Hello, 

 

My AT&T Call Protect App logged out on its\'s own. When I tried to log in, it requested that I enter my phone number and stated that a PIN number would be sent to me. I  never received the pin number and when I tried to request another pin, the app stopped working.

Most definitely we can check into this concern of not being able to access your call protect app!

 

Is your device and call protect app have been updated with the latest software? Have you removed and then re-downloaded the service app? Have you checked your spam/emails or texts alerts for the pin number request?

A social security scam call does not show up on my AT&T Call Protect App call log. After over a half hour on the phone w/ tech support, I was told the issue was resolved & all I needed to do was power my phone down & back on. I did this twice, but the phone number of the scam, from which I even have voicemail, does not show up so that I can report it. Will someone please help me report this scam since it has made national news, & the importance of reporting the scam was emphasized.

Hello,

 

My AT&T Call Protect logged out on its own. I tried registering the app again but it wont open.  A few thing happen when i try to register it again.

(#1) The app tells me to register

(#2) The app send me a temporary confirmation pin

(#3) I type in the pin and  hit enter. It then redirects me to the "setting up" page with a message that reads "Hang tight. We are setting up your account; it shouldn't take too long"

(#4) It stays on the "Setting Up... Hang tight." page for hours and never loads my At&t call protect.

 

I called into customer service and they ran a "trouble shoot" on my phone and then suggested that I turn off my phone and turn it on after 3 minutes. I did EXACTLY as they suggested and it still did not fix the problem! Why is it not working properly?!?! I rely on this app to block unwanted calls from Scammers. I'm very upset that it hasn't been fixed! It's been 3 months now!

My Call Protect has warned me of ONE “Potential Scam/SPAM call” out of more than 20 calls to my cell. Three of Eleven easily ID’d as fraud due to exchange digits beginning with zero, but remaining 8 were Credit card zero interest, vehicle warranty, etc. Mobile Security began extremely slow speed of VPN around same time. 

Removed/reloaded and reset settings to same problems. Refuse to pay for something that doesn’t work
