Asurion warranty

I bought iPhone from A. T & T in March 2020. On sales representative recommendation I also bought phone warranty from Asurion. Today I have been trying to file a claim for over an hour, the claim site is not working. I called th customer service number they are very buy nd cannot help. What are my options. I consider this extremely bad service by Asurion.

Hello Pochoo, we're here to get you pointed in the right direction regarding your Asurion warranty.

If you're trying to file a claim you can contact Asurion online. You would want to try a different browser and clear the cache and cookies if you're not able to get online.

Also, you can contact Asurion at 888.562.8662. They are available weekdays from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET and weekends from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. ET. to further review your claim.

You can change or remove wireless features by following these steps.

  1. Go to Account & services > My wireless.
  2. Scroll and select the device you want to manage.
  3. Select Manage device & features.
  4. Under My current features, select See feature for the feature you’d like to manage.
  5. Select the feature you’d like to change to OR select Remove.
  6. Follow the prompts to complete your change.
  7. Repeat steps to change or remove features for another device

Let us know if this helps, and thank you for contacting the AT&T Community Forums.

This is not an acceptable answer. How do I cancel the Asurion warranty. I have been paying to A. T. & T. billing department and now an employee says they are not responsible. Let me see if others in community will accept this answer.

you pay at&t and they pass on the payment to assurion as a courtesy if you want to cancel then login to your account and cancel it. its the same with my mortgage company i pay them for mortgage, taxes and insurance as 1 payment, do you think my mortgage company is responsible for my insurance policy?

I tried but I was not able to cancel the warranty. I was on A. T. & T. site and Asurion site for more than two hours. I would be pleasantly surprised if you or anyone in United States can login to their account and cancel the Asurion warranty.

Sir/Madam whoever you are, customer service in USA is not the way it was a few year ago. There is shortage of manpower. I have faced similar problem while travelling, couple of airlines ( no name) have limited customer service due to shortage of manpower. If community can prove me wrong I will be happy.

Dear Constructive, please do me a favor. Try to file a claim on Asurion, after multiple attempts try calling their phone number 888-562-8662, if you are able to get anyone on the phone then I consider you a super hero. Whatever experience you have with Asurion, be candid with your answer.

Thank you.

Asurion doesn't pick up calls from prepaid customers, when you call their hotline it asks you to enter the 10 digits wireless number, you enter the number and it tells you the number doesn't exist, there's no way you can file a claim by calling asurion and also there's no way that you can get directed to a rep thru this number, I work for at&t prepaid and I've trying to reach asurion for days, so no don't go around spreading misleading information if you're really an authorized employee at at&t check the facts that you have, and I really doubt that the website works for filing claims for customers, I've never even seen any customers ever with the mobile protection feature on their accounts...
