It's that time of year again!!!
iPhone XS & XS Max ordering starts on Friday, September 14th.
Let's get this thread started so we can keep track of issues, etc.
When will it be available?
Both the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max will be available to order on September 14 and will ship on September 21!
How much will it cost and how much storage will it have?

The iPhone XS will come in three different storage options (listed below) and pricing starts at $999.

Most of the issues I’m seeing here are on Apple’s end, not AT&T, which is very refreshing.
Kudos for a smoother than average launch on their part.

They did not hit the sales volume they thought either. People are waiting for the xr... That 749 price tag is what folks are looking at.

Due to the issues with my preorder from apple I didn't get my att order in until almost noon yesterday... and I stayed up all night to wait for the preorder at midnight. Right now att is still showing delivering on the 21st.. but all I can do is hold my breath and raise a stink if it gets pushed back.

Out of curiosity, if you ordered through Apple, why use the AT&T Next plan instead of Apple’s own installment plan? The only differences that I can see are that you don’t have to get AppleCare with the Next plan and the billing is on your monthly AT&T bill instead of a monthly CC charge.
I’ve seen stories saying the new phones bought on the Apple plan come unlocked (even if you do choose a carrier SIM), which makes sense since you don’t owe any money to AT&T for the phone.

Placed an order for 2 phones from att. Got a confirmation email at 3:39. Then 10 am got an emai saying there is a problem with my order.
talked to 4 different representatives (chat and phone) 3 of them said the order went through and one of them said there was something wrong.
I can’t chck the status online, supposedly because of the volume of the new orders...
Fingers crossed.

That def does not look right. Surely someone @ AT&T could provide an update.
Also, status update should work w/o issues. I can check as much as I want and it always pulls it, so that should be a clue that your order is fudged...

It’s weird, because I just got an email with the changes of my upcoming bill. I’ve been told these changes were because of the different installment plan.
Guess I’ll just have to wait this one out.

my status just changed to "preparing to ship" I had a great experience with ATT preorder since Iphone 4. We always got them on the launch day, but we did have to get up early like at 11:40am to preorder. It was surprising to me that we were able to preorder 9 mins earlier than 12:00am. Good luck everyone!! Cant wait until to get my hands on the iphone xs max silver and space gray.
