2018 iPhone XR - Ordering & Tracking Thread
iPhone XR ordering starts on Friday, October 19.
We're about a month away still, but still getting this thread started so you can ask questions, track ordering/shipping issues, etc.
When will it be available?
The iPhone XR will go up for pre-order on Friday, October 19, with availability in stores on October 26.
What colors will it come in?
Apple will be offering the iPhone XR in six colors:
- Black
- White,
- Yellow
- Coral
- Blue
- Product(Red)
What storage capacities will it have?
The iPhone XR will have three storage options:
- 64GB
- 128GB
- 256GB
What will the iPhone XR cost?
Pricing Breakdown:
- 64GB: $749
- 128GB: $799
- 256GB: $899

And folks need to realize that this phone is the one that going to be back-ordered out till the end of 2018 if you believe all the reviews and hype.

Indeed. According to all reports, this one will be the one in highest demand due to features and lowest (iPhone) entry point, so folks will have to set the alarms on the 19th and have all their ducks in a row if they want to score one.

Not to mention the yield rates on the screen seem to be a problem if you read into the reports.

Correct again. This the reason they are launching a month later than the XS, which seems counterproductive, but the reality is that they've had a whole year to perfect their manufacturing process for the X's OLED screens, while the newer LCDs on the R are giving them challenges.

Acording to Digitimes, shipments of iPhone XR are supposedly expected to hit 20 million units in October, so plan accordingly...
