Will a new AT&T phone from Walmart work on H20
In previous years I have bought AT&T prepay phones from Walmart and used H20 sims and it has been successful .
I am wondering if things have changed or if this is still possible. The Walmart rep seemed to think activation may be a problem.
Has anyone been able to use a new AT&T prepaid phone from Walmart on H20 recently or has AT&T introduced a new step to activating a phone ?
Will it work as before?

Hi, @KiwiRoadtrip,
We have an answer for this! Phones are not guaranteed to work on other networks when it is locked to AT&T. To unlock the device, you would need to have six months prepaid service with AT&T or sixty days postpaid service with no past due or unpaid balance. Look over the requirements to being able to unlock a device through AT&T.
