Wi-Fi connectivity issues with LG Stylo 3

My phone, the Stylo 3, will connect to my home AT&T Wi-Fi for a few minutes but disconnect shortly after with the error message "unable to connect to _______(my wifi name)"

It usually stays connected after I remove my battery and put it back for longer, but this has not proven a permanent solution .
