Hi there, Jowill2141! Let's look into why you're now unable to use Wi-Fi Calling on your Motorola 5G.

It's possible that there is an application or even a faulty setting that is obstructing the use of Wi-Fi Calling on your device.

  • If you haven't already, make sure to restart your device. This action closes all programs on your phone and finalizes all pending input and output operations before initiating a soft reboot.
    • Use our AT&T Device Support Center to learn how to do just that. After selecting your device's make and model choose Troubleshooting followed by Reset Device.
    • If your experience continues after that, then try restarting your device in Safe Mode (also found under Troubleshooting). This feature can help you rule out problematic apps as the cause of this unexpected trend with your device.

If your experience persists despite these steps then reach back out to us and let us know whether you set up e911 address on your phone when enabling Wi-Fi Calling.

  • For Android: Wi-Fi Calling is in Settings, Call Settings, and Quick Start menu, and is enabled from any of these locations.
  • For iPhone: Go to the Settings menu on device, click Phone Settings, and set up Wi-Fi Calling.

Make sure to include the exact make and model of your Motorola 5G device and whether it's AT&T or unlocked and brought over to use on our network. Even if AT&T sells the same make and model, a device sold by another carrier or by the device manufacturer may function differently.

Try this and let us know how it goes. We want to get you a definite resolution to your experience with Wi-Fi Calling.
