WIFI Calling broken with update to 8.0 Android.....specifically LG K20 (M255)

AT&T Tier 2 support and LG couldn't provide the correct answer on the first go around and the AT&T corporate store didn't know either. The second call to AT&T phone support yielded the fact that the LG K20 no longer supports WIFI Calling after the Android 8.0 upgrade. AT&T support also indicated that there were several other phones affected but I didn't press them for a list. You may have one of these now-broken models. AT&T, being the behemoth they are, often have more than one web site that calls out compatibility and features of specific phone. The page I went to said WIFI Calling was available for my model but there was another page the AT&T rep pulled up that no longer listed the K20 as being WIFI Calling capable.

AT&Ts solution was to provide a new , free replacement ( I owned the phone outright, less than a year after purchase).
