Why I am only getting Edge(2G) connection on my Unlocked LG Phoenix 2 GoPhone?!

I have an LG GoPhone and I got it unlocked because I had to travel and I needed a phone i won't be sad if it get stolen or lost.

But the problem is I am not getting 3G or 4G at all.

I had to enter APN settings manually and i am only getting Edge.

I checked the Network Bands (3G 2100 // 4G 1800/2300) and the Phone Bands (3G 850 / 900 / 2100 // 4G 2100/1800/2600/900/800) And everything checked out.

Sim card support 3/4G.

I tried everything but I ran out of solutions 😞

Please, Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Was it working, and not it's not?

If it's new, did you get a new SIM, along with the phone?  This is the first thing I'd try, along with installing the "NetCheck" app, and see what it's telling you, about your "actual" service.

There's also usually a "service menu", available via a non-published interface, that shows available radio functions, number of towers/antennas seen, etc.

*If this (or another post in this thread) fixes your problem/issue, please mark it as solved, and I'll tag it, to make it easier for others to find the answer(s). Thanks.

What carrier was this phone originally used on?

Double check the APN settings then power your phone off and on again.

You should get Hspa.
