Voicemail service not available
Phone: HTC A9
When accessing voicemail I get the "Service Not Available" message. It has been this way for the last 5 days ...
This is the first time this has happened in the last 4 years.
Thank you ...

My voicemail came back in service tonight. I hope all business owners and people with the voices of departed loved ones get their voicemail back soon too. I will keep watching this forum.

Hello @tjrussell,
We're aware that some customers may be having difficulty retrieving their voicemail due to a vendor server problem. We’re in contact with the vendor as they work to fix it and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

If you have not already filed a complaint with the FCC, I would suggest you try that. I did so and had my voicemail restored within 5 hours, and others reported similar results. It may be a coincident but it doesn't hurt to try.

I apologize for not paying my bill this month, and for going to T-Mobile first thing tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Would only believe the lame vendor excuse if they named the vendor, or got the vendor to "apologize"---att is really quick to "apologize" when you call--like gee, I feel so much better that my friends, family and business associates are really concerned they can't reach me and am missing all sorts of timely messages now that att sez they are sorry. As if this were personal and not business, as if we weren't being ripped off blind right now with zero accountability or updates.
Anyway, the vendor thing must be a lie or they'd have demanded that vendor step up and account by now--weeks into an historic crisis. One of the all-time EPIC #FAILS in the history of cellular communication.
Why would att let their reputation be so tarnished like this at the expense of someone else? Makes zero sense.
This is a case study in business failure. I am going to shop vendors this weekend. Really no big deal. Half hour, maybe 45 minutes. Be first in the door, bring a coffee and paper--imagine all those nice new voicemails and this farce being over. Tell the carrier the story, they'll step up to offer a deal to take your business.
Others should do same. If you simply won't do that right thing, call att at least once per day and demand a free month off and answers and let them know you are doing an FCC filing.
Fight folks, you are being ripped off and not given the straight story.

Just adding to the thread. I cannot even access the basic voicemail on Galaxy s10e. When people call me, says no voicemail box is setup. Called ATT and they tried having me setup my voicemail, reset it and everything, but every voicemail box number entered says it can't be found. Advanced technical support is now saying this may part of the voicemail outage.

It doesn't seem right that we are charged full price and voicemail does not work for a month. I really need it for business.
