Voicemail service not available

Phone:  HTC A9

When accessing voicemail I get the "Service Not Available" message.  It has been this way for the last 5 days ...

This is the first time this has happened in the last 4 years.

Thank you ...

Hello @McIver,

We're aware that some customers may be having difficulty retrieving their voicemail due to a vendor server problem. We’re in contact with the vendor as they work to fix it and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

My voicemail is finally working. We'll see if it's a permanent fix. AT&T should have notified customers they were having an issue and they should offer compensation for the down time. Just don't hold your breath.

I submitted a complaint to the FCC per the suggestion above and the FCC notified me that they notified AT&T.  The next day, my voicemail was working again as normal and I got all the stored up messages.

I spent an hour on the phone last night that I cannot get back. There was no satisfactory assistance.

A supervisor was supposed to call me back. They never did. Mine went out yesterday, but the only "possible" solution is to reset my VM box - deleting all my messages.

According to the less than helpful tech support person, this has been going on for over a month with AT&T.

Fix it! That kind of lengthy outage is unacceptable for the most expensive mobile carrier in the US market. We are paying for quality - and not getting it. Do better. FIX THE ISSUE QUICKLY! I am getting ready to switch carriers.

So my voice mail (visual and voice) is now working, it only lasted 32 hours, figured its just a glitch in the system, glad its back

And all my visual voice mails came back, whew, glad that happened, which then made me think to find a way to safely store my voice mails.

Omg it’s so awful. I have about 200 saved voice mail of family and friends (some now dead) that I cherished.was on phone w supervisor who promised to call me back last night.... but did not. I’ve put in around 4 hours trying to get help. They lie and don’t let public know about this issue.

I need my old messages not a new voice mail. What do you think i should do ?
I pay ATT on time and lots of money. This is obscene to not get clarity.
Thanks
Wendy

Can’t access voicemail except by calling it the old fashioned way. No voicemails show on my iPhone.

This did not work for me.  Now you say I'm on a long list of people waiting to get the solution fixed.  Problem is, this is my business phone too and clients are saying I'm not getting messages.  When will this be fixed?

@kclements5423 File a complaint with the FC. That has helped some people. You could also call your congressman's office.
