Let's look into helping you recover your saved voicemail messages, Thisisridiculous_1.

To get started, follow these steps:

  • The ability and steps to recover deleted Visual Voicemail messages depends on your make and model of smartphone.
  • Visit Device Support to view tutorials for your smartphone. After selecting your device's make and model choose Voicemail followed by Fix voicemail issues to troubleshoot unexpected voicemail trends.

Try this and let us know how it goes. Make sure to include the make and model of your phone and whether you've tried other troubleshooting steps such as powering your device off then on again.

I have the same problem.  My five most recent voicemails are showing but nothing that came before this month.  Went to Device Support as suggested, but all that did was run a diagnosis and a fix that didn't solve the problem.  Another issue is that some voicemail messages never make it into visual voicemail.

Again another missing voicemail thread that AT&T never finishes or has answers for. Do they realize how bad it is that they deleted data from our phones that we never authorized and may have been saving for a reason????

What do you have to do to get a straight answer/resolution????

I came here to see if it was just me...11/28/2023... went to check one I had saved, and all I got was the screen to setup. I finally just hit ok, the next screen said right away that it was all done.   All I have left are two random ones from weeks ago.. not even the one I was looking for.  All my saved ones are gone.... they were saved for a reason.

Is there actually a way to recover them?

OMG!!  I posted in this thread 11 months ago.  After my post I called AT&T and they told me I must've inadvertently deleted all my saved visual voicemails, even though I am 100% sure I did not.  Now here I am, very close to a year later, and it's happened AGAIN!!  Is it a coincidence this happens just after the new year starts?  Given the timing, it makes me suspicious it has something to do with rolling over into the new year.  Either way, I NEED MY MESSAGES BACK!!  I can't believe I'm dealing with this AGAIN!  AT&T.......FIX THIS!!

Operating system updates should not delete any data on your phone including voicemails.  Visual voicemails are downloaded onto your phone, AT&T does not have them once you download them.
