Videos that I take on the Galaxy S7 Edge show 00:00:00 time when I transfer to my computer


About two weeks ago I started having this problem. I record videos on my phone. When I go to transfer them to my computer the time on the video shows 00:00:00 and I am unable to watch them or edit them. 

I don't really mess with my settings so I have no clue what has changed that is causing this problem. . . . 

Anybody else have this issue or know how to fix it?

This is a very odd issue; thank you for bringing it to our attention on the Community Forums. I would be more than willing to help you get this taken care of.

Updating your device’s software is a good way to ensure compatibility amongst the native and third-party applications which utilize your hardware. To make sure your device is up-to-date, visit our Device Support Tool. With this, choose a device then select View All Solutions > System & storage > software update.

Can you let us know of any setting or changes to the device or account around the time this issue started happening? Also, how are you transferring the videos? Have you tried any other methods of transferring?
