Using my xiaomi mi11 lite 5g on roaming
Hi
I'm on holiday in the US. I'm using a french operator called free, which is on roaming with AT&T. I can connect on the internet, use whatsapp for calls. But it's impossible to make calls or text messages. I want to know if anyone has a solution to this problem.

That phone is not capable of voice calls over AT&T’s LTE network.
You will have to use a virtual calling program like Google voice, Viber, or Skype. These applications make phone calls over data rather than over the voice network.

Hey @Kimal, we understand how important it is to have a stable connection when you're overseas and will be happy to help.
You can see our official list of all devices that are approved to work on the AT&T Network. However, Xiaomi devices are not compatible with our network which is why you're unable to make calls or send texts while inside the US.

ATTHelp, requiring a new phone for a visit to USA is unreasonable. Using a virtual app is reasonable.
