Unlocking out of contract note 3

I signed a new contract for a note 3 and then I cancelled the contract /ported the number and paid the ETF.  This was in July/August.

 

When I try to get my note 3 unlocked using the ATT portal, it says IMEI not found.  

 

I am a current customer as well just FYI

Not sure you made the first bullet. Definately didn't do the second bullet. So likely when your number ported, the IMEI record went poof.

 

You might try messaging ATTCustomerCare to see if they can help you sort it out, because it sounds like you should be able to get it unlocked. Maybe.
