Unlocked AT&T LG G5 can't update

So I have an AT&T branded lg g5 and I use it with t-mobile and I look for update and it said my phone is up to date which is wrong because my phone is in Android 6.0.1 not 7.0. How to solve this problem?

The only way to solve the problem is to have att service. Att only updates phones connected on active accounts connect to att towers. If you have a friend with att put there Sim in your phone and it will allow the update.

Can I use cricket to update? Cause AT&T and cricket is one

No, must by AT&T itself. Cricket won't work.
