I’m attempting to unlock an At&t phone which I own. I’m being told the account belongs to another line. I paid off the old balance on the account, and then purchased a 30 day prepaid sim plan. What do I need to do to unlock this phone? I attempted to do so online, but I get an error message. When I spoke with At&T support; they were unable to help me.
I paid over $1,000.00 for this phone and I’d really like to use it. I don’t have strong At&t service where I live/work so I want to unlock it to use my Verizon SIM card in it.
Can you kindly assist me? What do I need to do to get an unlock code for this phone? There is no balance and no post paid plan attached to the phone’s IMEI #.
I’d greatly appreciate your assistance with this matter.
