Unlock request for Note10+

Hi. I purchased a note 10+ phone directly from an individual who had it from at&t. When I try to request for unlocking from https://www.att.com/deviceunlock/#/unlockstep1 tells me that the device does not match an AT&T device. The note 10+ is surely an at&t device and is currently still locked to at&t so I don't accept and understand why at&t would say otherwise. May i please be assisted on this and give me enlightenment as to the unlock request? When and where can i submit the IMEI for at&t verification? Thanks in advance.

they have been purging older and non used imei lately call in ask for advanced tech support and they usually can fix it

@Constructive My phone acquired is a note10 plus so it's very recent model, not having older imei as you mentioned. but yeah, i will ask to be connected to advanced tech support.. Thanks
